Travel Vaccinations
Please note that the practice does not offer travel health advice. If you are thinking of travelling abroad please look at the travel section of the NHS website for advice on what you need to do. Travel Health Pro is a useful website to check vaccination and travel advice before you travel abroad.
The following vaccines are available here free on the NHS.
- polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab), typhoid, hepatitis A and cholera
You’ll have to pay for travel vaccinations against:
- hepatitis B
- Japanese encephalitis
- meningitis vaccines
- rabies
- tick-borne encephalitis
- tuberculosis (TB)
- yellow fever
You can arrange for these vaccinations through a private travel clinic. Such clinics are run by pharmacies i.e. Boots, Superdrug or Lloyds Pharmacies
